Country must be suspicious

Editor, OBSERVER:

I read the letter, “We all need to accept the results” (Dec. 22) and, to say the least, I could not believe it.

The writer said it does not make sense a challenger would be able to steal an election. He says accept the truth of the election, I suppose like they did when President Donald Trump was elected and they shouted “not my president” and tried everything in heaven and earth to remove him from office.

They crucified him for four years. While in office, he still managed to make America great again. But enough of that, how could poor Joe Biden with no power, no government agencies at his disposal, fix a national election. You know how? With help from the same people who pushed Bernie Sanders out of the race because they did not want him in office.

Poor Biden announced he was running for president in April 2019 raised a total of $1.3 billion according to OpenSecrets. This amount includes donations to his official campaign committee and outside groups like single-candidate super PACs and hybrid PACs. No, Biden by himself could never have stolen the election. But the people behind him surely could have.

Finally, if the Democrats have nothing to hide, why then do they fight this tooth and nail to stop any kind of investigation into the election when doing so would put the whole thing to rest? After all, 74 million people voted for Trump don’t they want unity or do they just have something to hide? Another saying, it’s an American one, by Mark Twain: Figures don’t lie, but liars figure.
