White Inn is royalty for village
Editor, OBSERVER:
The corner of Route 20 and White Street in Fredonia is no longer quiet. The magnificent “Queen” has returned to her hallowed spot.
The White Inn, long vacant, has been restored and remodeled and is ready to welcome overnight guests. An animal bedroom is also available for those people travelling with pets.
The bar room, dining room and kitchen have all been painted, papered and brought up to date. Stark white tablecloths adorn tables in the dining room. Menus and prices are available in the latest edition of Bon Appetit magazine.
Congratulations go out to financial backers, architects, construction workers, future planners and other individuals (financially) for their foresight to bring about the village of Fredonia treasure.
Graduation parties, out-of-town guests, weddings and civic organizations can now hold their daily, weekly and monthly meetings within the walls of this gracious building.
Guests can now eat meals or sip drinks while sitting on the front porch, and watch the traffic roll by.
The lawn, with its profusion of flowers, will also be well manicured.
The resilient White Inn, the Queen, has returned to reign in all its glory.
