Have Cranberry sauce, will travel

Thanksgiving hasn’t been at our house for a few years since we changed the family holiday rotation. I do miss it, but then again, I don’t have to do it … a blessing all by itself. But when it comes to making the cranberry sauce, that easy task is always on my “Take to Massachusetts” to-do list. If I don’t create the cranberry sauce, we don’t have it. Community supports bingo at Legion Editor, OBSERVER: The Sons of the American Legion, Squad 59 held their Turkey Bingo fundraiser Nov. 13 at the post at 156 E Main St., Fredonia. Winners of the rounds of turkey bingo had an enjoyable evening, especially with SAL Squad 59 Commander Rod Dziduch calling the numbers in addition to his color commentary. The news flash about one of America’s greats isn’t all that unexpected. If we can tear down a statue of founding father Thomas Jefferson, anyone of our American heroes is fair game. Let’s pick up where we left off four weeks ago. Speaking at Notre Dame on Sept. 16, United States Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was asked to name the greatest threat to the judiciary.
