Thirty years ago — 1990

Photographer Frank Rossotto of Westfield has had two of his pictures on recent magazine covers. A picture of his 8-month-old daughter, Breanna Raschel, appears on the May/June cover of “Christian Parenting Today,” and one of his son Ryan, age 7, appears on the March/April cover of “Revuser.”

Forty years ago — 1980

Dr. Mark M. Kutner will now be associated with his father, Dr. William A. Kutner Sr., in his chiropractic office at 510 Central Ave., Dunkirk. A 1971 alumnus of Dunkirk High School, he also graduated from the University at Buffalo and received his doctorate in April 1980 from the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago. He is a lifelong Dunkirk resident.

Fifty years ago — 1970

The tourist information booth in Memorial Park, Dunkirk will be open through Labor Day. The booth is operated by the Dunkirk Chamber of Commerce.
