The Village of South Dayton could have cable television service next year, according to John Storm, who will be installing the cable and running the South Dayton Cableview. A cost estimate was given of $15 per household per month for basic service and $20 for enhanced.

Jim Fox, Mayville bureau chief for the OBSERVER, has been chosen co-winner of the 1980 Festival of Firsts playwriting prize by the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea (Calif.). Mr. Fox’s play, “The Rich Man from America” was chosen from among 250 entries.
