Thirty years ago — 1990

A “Do You Remember?” photo from 1940 shows the Tubby Wallace band which played, among other places, at the College Inn on Roberts Road in Dunkirk. Band members are Joe Wallace, drummer; Joe Battaglia, singer; John Cutrana, tenor saxophone; John “Tubby” Wallace, alto saxophone; Robert Zielinski, trumpet; and John Dubnicki, piano.

Forty years ago — 1980

Members of the Ad Altare Class of Scout Troop 254 (St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish) attended the recent ordination of the Rev. Thomas McCarthy (at his personal invitation) and presented the new priest with a green stole designed and sewn by troop members.
