Your Choice Diaper Service is now open and serving Chautauqua County. Owners Joseph Polisoto and Brenda Polisoto D’Angelo, both native residents, are offering parents a convenient and economical way to diaper their babies. The service uses phosphate-free, 100 percent biodegradable products and delivers its diapers in reusable cloth bags. The business is located at 12 West Courtney St., Dunkirk.

Forty years ago — 1982

Hills Department Store Inc. will lease the now vacant Twin Fair store located on Vineyard Drive in the town of Dunkirk. Store renovations will total about $500,000. Hills has a 20-year lease with Twin Fair Inc., with the option to purchase the building after 10 years.
