Lake Erie Baptist Church recently celebrated the seventh anniversary of its founding, when the Rev. Roger Eimers preached his first sermon to 39 people gathered in the Fredonia Grange. For the anniversary event, 166 members and guests were in attendance from Ohio and areas throughout western New York. Fredonia Mayor Louis Mancuso was a special guest. Pastor Eimers titled his anniversary message: “The Simplicity of Salvation.” Currently, the congregation is served by Pastor Eimers and two assistants, the Rev. Thomas Knickerbocker and the Rev.
