Upstate crews may get call

In November, a winter storm that struck Western New York dumping up to 7 feet of snow around Buffalo captivated a nation. This morning, many are watching the Northeast regarding Juno.

Even before this potentially historic storm struck, New York state officials had asked residents around the metropolitan area to take precaution due to the expected blizzard conditions. Some areas were expecting up to 2 feet by the time the storm moves out to sea on Wednesday.

Our area received a dusting compared to what downstate was expecting. But if help is needed to dig out, area responders will likely have to return a favor.

Two months ago, we needed help. This week, we may be called on for downstate.
