Ohio squad wins Westfield one-pitch tourney
Wayne Homes of Massillon, Ohio won the annual Westfield One-Pitch Softball Tournament this past weekend. Wayne Homes cruised through the tournament winning all five games that it played. The closest game they had was the semi-final game against Lil MaGill’s, of Dunkirk, defeating them in extra innings to get to the finals. In the finals, Wayne Homes defeated Alpha Q from Jamestown and Warren, Pa. The other team in the semifinals was Hit Crew from Dunkirk. All proceeds from the tournament went to the Woody Keyser Fund at the Westfield High School.
