Lucky Lanes Junior Bowling

Registration for the junior bowling season at Lucky Lanes will be held on Sept. 4, Sept. 11, and Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.

Bowlers may also register on the evenings of Sept. 9 and Sept. 14 from 7-9 p.m. All new and returning bowlers must register. The registration fee is $10. Youth bowler ages range from 4 to 18 as of Aug. 1, 2021. Teams may be all boys, all girls, or mixed. Teams will consist of up to four bowlers. Leagues will start on Sept. 18.

Star Swimming Jamestown is back in the pool

Star Swimming Jamestown is hosting an information session on Thursday, Sept. 9 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Southwestern Elementary School cafeteria.

After a year pause due to COVID-19 restrictions and a lack of local pool access, Star Swimming Jamestown will start its short-course season Sept. 13. New and returning swimmers and families are welcome to attend this informational session; practice times, meet information and pricing options will be provided.

Swimmers of all experience levels can learn about various commitment options as Star Swimming offers programming for new competitive swimmers to elite swimmers. Please wear a mask at the meeting. If you are unable to attend the information session but would like information, please visit the Star Swimming Jamestown Facebook page. Private and public messages can be posted there and someone will reply to them.
