Pucci’s 17, Davis Construction 11

Leading Pucci’s were Jack Mansfield (triple, three runs scored), Ashton Putney (three hits, two runs scored) and Colin Crowell (double, three hits, two runs scored) at the plate.

Jeffry Sayers and Jayden Yerico (home run) also had big hits in the top of the sixth.

Nathan Sercu led six pitchers on the mound for Pucci’s with three strikeouts in the bottom of the sixth, to secure the come from behind victory.

For Davis Construction, Sarah Davis (two runs scored, double) and Bryce Bacher (double, three runs scored) led them in batting. Derek Clark also led Davis Construction in pitching with six strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings of work.

Concord FC 11u 2 Bradford 1

Concord won a very tight match against a tough Bradford team in Pennsylvania on a hot Saturday afternoon.

Every player contributed in a total team effort victory.

Max Sterniolio and Carley Wilson had goals for Concord FC. Jude Murphy and Haylee Babar were defensive standouts. Emma Patterson played her best game of the year at midfield. David Barret and Jack Pietro played goalkeeper for the winners. Brandon Gustsfson was awarded the star patch from the other team for his efforts.
