Friday Night Couples League — The couples golf season has officially started at the Vineyards. We had 7 couples enjoying a round of golf and a delicious catered dinner by Mannings Catering on a beautiful Friday evening. Here are the results: Closest to the pin on # 3 was Jan Manning and closest on #9 was Sandi Gloss. Scores were very even with the best being 35 and the rest 36. This league is open to all golfers. This is a just a fun and food league with prizes drawn randomly at the end of dinner with all golfers having a chance to win. If interested please call the Vineyards Golf Course at 672-7888 by Wednesday at 7 p.m. so we can have a head count for dinner. Team New Era Tryouts take place Friday

Team New Era baseball will hold tryouts for its fall elite travel baseball program for players ages 9 through 17 on Friday, June 22 at our Depew facility on 3950 Broadway. Fredonia Central School girls hoops camp set

The 2018 Fredonia Central School Girls Basketball Camp will be held June 25-28 in the Fredonia High School and Middle School gyms.

Cost is $105 per camper ($90 if paid by June 15, deduct $10 if five or more students from the same school attend camp and send in their applications together). Eligible girls ae students entering grades 3-12.

Are you ready for a fun-filled week of learning the skills that will make you a better basketball player? If you want to have fun, improve your skill level, play games and compete in daily competitions, this is the camp for you.

Each player is expected to arrive between 8:30 and 8:55 a.m. Camp will start promptly at 9 a.m. Athletes are expected to bring their own lunch. There will be cold pop, water and Gatorade for sale at lunch time and at the end of the day. All athletes should have their ride pick them up at 3:30 p.m. All parents are welcome to come to the awards ceremony at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 28.

Black Knight Hall of Fame golf tourney July 9

SILVER CREEK — The 2018 Black Knight Hall of Fame has been announced. Inductees are Dan Bradley, Chris Perry, Pete Stockunas, Paul Mangano and Larry Barreca Sr. (posthumously).

A golf tourney to support the program will be held on Monday, July 9 at Tri County Country Club at 11 a.m. If interested in playing, please contact Sean Helmer at shelmer@silvercreekschools.org.
