Gary Tripp Memorial Golf Tournament Aug. 25

Save the date: Saturday, August 25, for The Gary Tripp Memorial Golf Tournament. Details to be announced regarding place and time. Captains, get your foursomes together as letters will be sent out shortly. This will be the 10th and final GTMGT. It promises to be one awesome tournament. Feel free to pass the word. CHRIC Classic Golf Tournament set for July 28

MAYVILLE — Chautauqua Home Rehabilitation Improvement Corporation (CHRIC) will be holding its third annual CHRIC Classic Golf Tournament on Saturday, July 28 at the Chautauqua Golf Club, 4731 West Lake Road, Chautauqua.

Josh Freifeld, executive director of the CHRIC Board of Directors, invites the community to come join CHRIC for a day of golfing fun. Registration and lunch starts at noon with a 1 p.m. shotgun start on Lake Course. Entry fee is $100 a player or $400 a foursome which includes 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch, two drink tickets, appetizers, music, cocktails and dinner. For friends and family wishing to join in the dinner festivities, there is a $30 dinner only option.

Why not be part of a great event and take a chance on a Hole in One on Par 3 to win a car sponsored by Basil Chevrolet-Buick-Cadillac. Fredonia State’s diving camp July 9-13

Fredonia State will conduct a springboard diving camp July 9-13 at the Steele Hall Natatorium. Novice to college divers from ages 6 to 18 are welcome. Divers can attend in half day or full day sessions. The camp hosts resident divers as well as commuters. Instruction will emphasize proper techniques on the board, in the air and entries into the water. The pool is equipped with three boards, trampoline and dryboard with spotting belts. Team New Era tryouts planned for Friday

Team New Era baseball will hold tryouts for its fall elite travel baseball program for players ages 9 through 17 on Friday, June 22 at our Depew facility on 3950 Broadway.
