Adult golf Wednesday Travel League The league held a very special and meaningful outing honoring the life of league founder Francis “Chink” Borowski at Maplehurst Country Club in Lakewood. Tony Nasca Sr., the only living original league member, hit the ceremonial first tee shot after Francis’ sons, Fred and Steve, sprinkled some of their father’s ashes on the first tee box. Following golf, the Borowski family hosted a dinner at the Kosciuszko Club for past and present golfers to honor and remember their father. Stories were shared and Butch Mackowiak gave a special blessing. ...
