Fredonia senior Dave Trabold was named SUNYAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

It was the latest in a series of honors Trabold has received this fall. He has been named most valuable player of two straight tournaments, the Buffalo State Fred Hartrick Classic earlier this month and the Fredonia Blue Devil Classic this past weekend. In doing so, he has scored one goal in each of Fredonia’s first four games. Two of the four have come in overtime. The Blue Devils are 4-0.

Trabold shared the Fredonia Athlete of the Award this week with women’s volleyball player Courtney Poirier. He also was a Fredonia Athlete of the Week last week.

Trabold’s four goals this season matches his entire career output prior to this season. After going scoreless his first two seasons at Fredonia, he scored four goals last season.
