The boys 4×4 of Nelson Rosario, Nate Ganey, Matt Hanlon and Miracle Berakah ran a 3:58.37 for a fifth-place finish. The boys 4×2 also had a fifth place finish running a 1:41.95 and that team was comprised of Jonah Rosas, Devin Eddy, Angel Reyes and Hanlon. The girls 4×2 ran to a third-place finish in 1:53.76 and that team was made up of Kylie Procknal, Cossin, Petrella and Hanlon.
“It was nice to get on a 200m track this early in the season and really see where our kids are at,” Dunkirk/Silver Creek coach Adam Woelfle said. “We had a lot of good performances, but only expect the times to get even faster the next time we go there. I’m impressed with what we have and the work these young athletes have been putting in.”
Fredonia’s next meet will be played on Saturday.
