BROCTON — The 2018 5th Annual Darren Manzella-Lapeira Memorial Run is on its way.

Event organizers have been planning and hoping this run will be as successful as the previous runs. The event will again take place in Brocton, at the American Legion Post 434 on Saturday, July 28, and will be a certified 5K Run and Fun Walk. Walkers will be able to walk the 5K Run if they desire.

It’s Your Race will again be conducting the race this year. Also, there will again be a Virtual Run and Walk this year available to those who want to participate, but are unable to make the run in Brocton. There will be a raffle, basket auction and chicken dinners available to purchase at the race.

The event’s website is currently being updated and will be available online shortly. You can register online for the run at www.itsyourrace.com.

Please note, a cutoff date of July 7 for sponsorships to be submitted is necessary to ensure that all appropriate sponsorship signage on the shirts and signs will be ordered and are in organizers’ possession by the event date.
