On Sunday afternoon, the Dunkirk Marauders 10U Travel Baseball team started their season off with a big 3-0 win over Midtown at Fredonia. Dunkirk’s pitchers, Thomas Shaffer, Greg Orcutt, and Josh Lemanski, combined for 11 strikeouts in a one hit shutout. Shaffer took the win, and Lemanski was awarded the save. Dunkirk’s offense was led by Dylan Ott and Henry Leone with two hits each. Ott and Gabe Valentine had two stolen bases each. Paul Trippy III had the game winning RBI. The 10U Marauders travel next Sunday to Pioneer for a 1 p.m. matchup.
