The Shorewood Country Club Golf Committee’s search team has named Rich Conwell, a Class “A” PGA Professional, the golf professional for the 2018 summer season.

Conwell visited Shorewood on Tuesday this week to tour facilities and meet with staff and with the Board of Directors.

Rich has been a head golf professional for 19 years, coming to Shorewood from Oakhurst Country Club in Grove City, Ohio.

Conwell will offer golf lessons and instruction by appointment. He also plans to take on the purchase and merchandising of golf apparel and equipment in the Pro Shop as he gets settled into the position.
