CASSADAGA — Cassadaga Valley (3-4, 3-5) fell to Maple Grove (7-0, 10-1), 40-15 on a very cold and rainy day, in a Section VI league golf match at Cassadaga Country Club, on Monday.

Peter Auer led the way for the Red Dragons, shooting a 41 on the par-36 course, making him the medalist in the 40-15 victory over the Cougars. The Red Dragons had the top five scores on the day with Ben Lockwood (42), Jack Eimiller (46), Colin McPherson (52) and Drew Keleman (53) rounding out the top five.

Garrett Catanese (57) and Hunter Johnson (59) were the leaders in the Cougars loss to Maple Grove.

The Cougars will compete in qualifiers at Shorewood Country Club on Wednesday.
