The Section VI baseball playoff seedings were announced late on Monday night.

In Class B1, Fredonia earned the No. 4 seed and a home game against No. 13 seed Alden today. Dunkirk was named the No. 10 seed and travels to No. 7 seed Olean today.

In Class B2, Gowanda earned the No. 2 seed and a first round bye. They will play either No. 7 seed Olmstead or No. 10 seed Cleveland Hill on Friday in Gowanda.

For Class C, Silver Creek/Forestville earned the No. 6 seed and will host No. 11 seed Westfield on Friday. Chautauqua Lake took the No. 8 seed and will host No. 9 seed Ellicottville/West Valley on Friday. Cassadaga Valley earned the No. 12 seed and travels to No. 5 seed Randolph on Friday.

For Class D, Brocton earned the No. 1 seed and a bye to the semifinals. The winner of No. 4 seed Pine Valley versus No. 5 seed North Collins on Tuesday will play Brocton that Thursday, May 30.
