The Cassadaga Valley Lady Cougars won a tight girls basketball game over the Pine Valley Panthers on Tuesday night, squeaking by 44-38.

Kaylee Pattyson led the way for the Lady Cougars (2-0), as she scored 13 points and four blocked shots on the evening. Meghan LeBaron added 10 points and six boards, while Isabella Ruiz had eight points and five steals.

The Lady Panthers (0-2) were led by Haley Campbell’s nine points, followed by Lyric Westlund, who had seven points, and Delanie Tunstall’s six points.
