Alex Maytum was a two-sport athlete at Fredonia High School. He is a two-time captain and a three-year starter on the varsity soccer team. He was a recipient of regional recognition for his outstanding defensive play. Alex also received the WDOE leadership award in 2019.

As a member of the Fredonia varsity baseball team, he was looking forward to completing his fourth year of high school baseball with his friends and teammates.

Alex has also achieved academically, were he has been on the honor roll all four years of high school and is a member of the National Honor Society. Alex will attend the University at Buffalo in the fall where he will pursue a degree in Biology with the intent to graduate Pre-Med.
