Fredonia scores in every at-bat vs. Hornets

FREDONIA — A two-run third inning put Fredonia up 4-0 en route to a 9-1 nonleague softball win Friday.

Erin Schrantz singled and Hailee Laurito doubled before Jordan Lucas made it 3-0 with an RBI double. Nevaeh Zadzilka then hit an RBI single to plate Lucas.

The Hillbillies scored single runs in the first and second, two runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings, and another single run in the sixth.

Marissa Cash threw the first three innings in the circle, striking out four, walking one and allowing just one hit. Maddy Marsh then threw two innings of four-hit ball, striking out one while allowing an unearned run. Lucas threw the final two innings for Fredonia with three strikeouts.

Lila Cameron doubled and drove in two runs while Lucas scored a pair of runs.

Madison Sliwinski singled and scored Forestville’s only run while Alexis Alguire struck out three in the circle.
