WEST SENECA — Ethan Fry and Nick Whitfield combined to shoot 23 of 35 from the field and score 53 points as Fredonia beat West Seneca East 74-54 in nonleague boys basketball Tuesday night.

Fry scored 27 points, picked up five steals, grabbed four rebounds and handed out four assists while Whitfield had 26 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four blocked shots.

Davion White chipped in 10 points for the Hillbillies 6-6, 0-4 CCAA D1 West).

The Trojans fell to 1-10 overall.

SILVER CREEK TOPS HORNETS

FORESTVILLE — Silver Creek defeated Forestville 74-34 in a nonleague game.

The Black Knights (7-5, 2-4 CCAA Central) were sparked by a 30-point performance from Matt Woleben.

Silver Creek led from a very early point and never looked back after going up 47-10 at halftime. Forestville (0-7, 0-2 CCAA East) kept pace with the Black Knights in the second half, but the game far out of reach when the final buzzer went.

Ray Cortes pitched in 20 points and seven rebounds for Silver Creek while both Simon White and Caleb Fiegl grabbed six rebounds.

Brayden Smith was the top scorer for Forestville with 12 and Sam Rueben scored 10 and picked up five rebounds.
