Maloney’s 34 helps JHS improve to 16-0 on season
CASSADAGA — Behind a 1-under 34 from Evan Maloney, Jamestown raised its record to 16-0 overall and 13-0 in the league following wins over Chautauqua Lake/Westfield and Cassadaga Valley at Cassadga Country Club on Friday.
Playing in cool and very wet conditions, the Red & Green downed the Eagles (9-4, 7-2) 37-18 and the Cougars (2-12, 1-10) 40-15. In the other match, Chautauqua Lake/Westfield defeated Cassadaga Valley 32-23.
Tyler Salvaggio of Jamestown and Carson Swanson of Chautauqua Lake/Westfield shot a 37 and 39 respectively for the second- and third-best performances of the afternoon.
Jackson Marsh led Cassadaga Valley with a 44.

HUSKIES PREVAIL
OLEAN — In a five-hole match, Olean defeated Falconer 34.5-20.5 at Bartlett Country Club.
Leading the way for the Huskies (10-8, 6-6) were Brody Frame, Cam Bartman and Drew Guenther with 25 apiece.
For the Golden Falcons (4-7, 3-4), Channing Brainard set the pace with a 25.
