FREDONIA — Emery Watkins won a pair of individual events as Panama/Maple Grove/Clymer/Sherman edged Fredonia/Dunkirk/Forestville/Pine Valley/Cassadaga Valley 90-86 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls swimming Thursday at Fredonia High School.

Watkins captured the 200-yard freestyle (2:41.70) and 100-yard freestyle (57.96) for the guests.

Olivia Burlingame won the 200-yard individual medley (2:35.25) and 100-yard backstroke (1:07.02) for the hosts, hitting Class A-qualifying times in the process.

MAYVILLE — Addi Follman, Kynleigh Wass and Charli Ross were all double winners for Salamanca as the Warriors beat Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton 126-43.

Follman captured the 200-yard individual medley (2:51.16) and 100-yard freestyle (1:04.79); Wass claimed the 100-yard butterfly (1:22.01) and 100-yard backstroke (1:17.74); and Ross took the 500-yard freestyle (7:00.77) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:28.81).

Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton’s lone victory came from Lillian Schenk, Elsa Creager, Aviana Matos and Addison Gervasio in the 200-yard freestyle relay (2:14.86).
