FREDONIA — The Fredonia girls tennis team swept singles and took a pair of doubles matches for a 4-1 nonleague victory over Frewsburg/Southwestern on Friday.

Charis LaBarr secured another victory in second singles to finish the season with a perfect record, 13-0, while Nella Darrell-Sterbak took a two-set win in first singles.

Fredonia (13-1) received a first doubles win courtesy of Rosie Manzella and Elizabeth Joy, while second doubles was won by Amelia Way and Hazel Daly-Griffen.

Frewsburg/Southwestern picked up its lone victory in third doubles as Claire Spielman and Marleigh Stappenbeck won a third set in tiebreakers.

EAGLES WIN ON SENIOR NIGHT

MAYVILLE — Chautauqua Lake honored Jillian Miller, Taylyn Stanton, Quinn Vaillancourt and Molly Ulsh on Senior Night with a 5-0 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 girls tennis sweep of Cassadaga Valley.

Eden Ludwig and Miller won their singles matches for the Eagles (9-2, 7-0), who were also celebrating homecoming.

Stanton and Vaillancourt won at first doubles, Ulsh and Vivian Watson won at second doubles, and Emma Rowe and Caroline Hetrick won at third doubles.
