Maple Grove tops Silver Creek
ELLERY — Maple Grove beat Silver Creek 25-27, 25-21, 25-20, 25-15 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 volleyball Friday to improve to 11-3 overall and 5-2 in the league.
Liana Parsell had six kills, three digs and two aces; Gracelin Stevens had three kills, two aces and a dig; and Molly Becker had six assists and five aces for the Black Knights (4-10, 0-7).
EAGLES SWEEP FORESTVILLE
FORESTVILLE — Riley Whitmer had 13 kills and 12 digs as Ellicottville defeated nonleague Forestville 25-12, 25-21, 25-19.
Ande Northrup had 20 assists, three kills, seven aces and two digs while Izzy Coburn had eight kills, six digs and an ace for the Eagles (10-6).
Iris Muck had three aces, two kills and a block; Ava Gruber had three kills; and Elisabeth Chase had four assists, two kills, a dig and a block for the Hornets (2-9).
Ellicottville won the jayvee matchup.
CHAUTAUQUA LAKE CRUISES
RANDOLPH — Kinslee Motter had 10 kills and two blocks as Chautauqua Lake improved to 11-1 overall with a 25-16, 25-19, 25-16 sweep of nonleague Randolph.
Karagan Fairbank had 23 assists, 10 digs and an ace; Brina Jacobson had five kills and three aces; and Noli Paddock had six kills, two aces and two blocks for the Eagles.
Addyson Shawley had six kills, five blocks and two digs; Piper Chase had 10 assists, five digs and two aces; Ryanne Bushey had five kills and two digs; and Maybelle Kovel had a kill, 10 digs and two aces for the Cardinals (2-10).
