Eckwahl sets Bears’ scoring record

FREWSBURG — Audrey Eckwahl scored a pair of goals off headers, establishing a new Frewsburg career scoring record in the process, as the Bears beat Allegany-Limestone/Hinsdale 5-4 in a wild nonleague matchup Thursday at the Frewsburg Sports Complex. Frewsburg led 3-2 at halftime. Jaden Jimerson opened the scoring from Presleigh Stelmack in the 17th minute before Eckwahl scored her first header of the game off an Ellie Cappa corner kick in the 26th minute to make it 2-0.
