DUNKIRK — Gabriella Grann and Charli Ross were locked in a pitcher’s duel Friday in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 softball game. Grann was just a little bit better. The seventh-grader allowed four hits and no earned runs, struck out four and walked two to spark Dunkirk to a 3-2 victory over Salamanca.
