Medical issue causes Rt. 60 rollover

A medical issue is believed to have a caused a one-vehicle rollover on Route 60, near Laona this afternoon. According to the Fredonia Fire Department, around 1:15 p.m. an individual was traveling on Rt. 60 when the sport utility vehicle went off the road near Wilson Road, striking two street signs and hitting a fire hydrant, causing it to rollover. The individual had minor injuries from the accident and was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital after being extricated from the vehicle. State Police and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
