Mr. and Mrs. Sam Mancuso

Sam and JoAnn Mancuso of Dunkirk renewed their wedding vows after 50 years of marriage on Saturday, Feb. 18 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. The Reverend Walter Werbicki officiated at the 5 p.m. Mass with music provided by the Adult Folk Choir under the direction of Dan Smith. Mrs. Mancuso was presented with a rose by her granddaughter Mia to the song “Bring Me A Rose.”

Mr. Mancuso is retired from the Parish where he served as Director of Religious Education and Youth Minister. Mrs. Mancuso retired from Cassadaga Valley Central School after teaching French for 21 years.

A luncheon was held for family and dear friends the next day at the Clarion Hotel. The party was hosted by the couple’s three daughters: Andrea (David) Caccamise of Forestville, Melanie (Michael Robertson) of Buffalo and Ellyn of Dunkirk. Sam and JoAnn’s beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren were all in attendance: Nicholas and Elizabeth Caccamise and children Parker, Amelia and Waylon of California, Joseph Caccamise and Megan Carroll of California, Max Caccamise and Kayla, Dylan and Mia Mancuso.

A slideshow, prepared by Megan, was enjoyed by all. The couple danced to the song “Through The Years” at the end of the party. The event photographer was Diane Andrasik.
