Visitors from Russia receive warm welcome at UPMC Chautauqua WCA
JAMESTOWN — UPMC Chautauqua WCA officials warmly welcomed a delegation of visitors from Russia on Tuesday, March 20. The delegation, from a variety of locations across Russia, visited the hospital, toured a variety of departments, and gained knowledge of best practices.
UPMC Chautauqua WCA hospital managers discussed their role in the patient’s care including, administrative director of lab services at the hospital, Christopher Srodawa, MBA, BS, MT(ASCP), who discussed the laboratory scientist’s work with pathologists and other members of the health care team to diagnose disease by performing and interpreting complex laboratory tests.
