Three charged following altercation

HANOVER — Three out-of-county men were charged following an altercation that caused harm to two victims in the town of Hanover on Monday.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the report of a physical altercation on Allegheny Road in the town. Investigation at the scene found that 20-year-old Trey C. Swierczynski, of Lancaster, 19-year-old Jax M. Ratajczak, of Depew, and 22-year-old Shane R. Miller, of Cheektowaga, had allegedly been involved in a physical altercation which caused physical injury to two victims.

Swierczynski was charged with two counts of third-degree assault and one count of fourth-degree criminal mischief. Ratajczak was charged with two counts of third-degree assault and Miller was charged with two counts of third-degree assault. All subjects were released with appearance tickets and are scheduled to return to Hanover Town Court at a later date to answer to these charges.
