DERBY — Evans town police are searching for a man in a reported armed robbery Thursday night at a business on Erie Road in Derby.

Police report the male entered Top Shelf Liquor around 9:41 p.m. and displayed a small black semi-automatic handgun. The suspect fled on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of cash and was reported to have entered a small SUV that was gray or silver on a nearby street. The man is described as being in his late 40s to early 50s, 5-foot-10 and 180 to 200 pounds with a blonde mustache.
