Beekeeping group plans third annual meeting

JAMESTOWN — The Chautauqua County Beekeepers Association will present its third annual Beekeeping Lollapalooza on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fluvanna Community Church, 3363 Fluvanna Ave. in Jamestown. The program will feature a special presentation by Randall Cass, Extension Associate at Cornell’s Dyce Lab for Honey Bee Studies. The event will kick off at 11 with “So You Want to Start Beekeeping — Now What?” a show-and-tell presentation of the basic equipment and protective clothing required to get started in beekeeping.
