CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — MAYVILLE — Four Westfield residents are facing charges after a traffic stop Thursday morning. At about 9:40 a.m., Andrew Harris, 26, was operating a vehicle on Academy Street and was known to have a state license with 25 suspensions and revocations. He was stopped by deputies and a search of his vehicle was conducted which produced a felony amount of methamphetamine. BLAZE DAMAGES HOME IN DUNKIRK Exposed electrical wiring is being blamed for a house fire on Friday in the city of Dunkirk, according to the investigation team at the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department. The incident occurred at 153 King St. at 4:09 p.m. Friday. Upon arrival, Dunkirk firefighters discovered a fire on the first floor of a two story home. All occupants had fled the house prior to the arrival of the department. Jamestown man pleads guilty to meth charges

A Jamestown man has pleaded guilty to methamphetamine charges. On Friday, U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced that Willie C. Graham, 43, pleaded before U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra Jr. to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, which carries a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison, a maximum of imprisonment of 40 years, and a fine of $5,000,000.
