On Oct. 18, at 6:40 p.m., Gowanda Police responded to a disturbance on Jamestown Street. Officers were informed that a group of juveniles were walking on the sidewalk on Jamestown Street. McChesney, 27, of Jamestown, was charged with speed in zone, consuming cannabis in a motor vehicle, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Oct. 19. Ellicott police responded to a speeding vehicle on Allen Street Extension and allege McChesney was speeding while having burning cannabis in his vehicle.
