Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Marilyn Hamlin

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hamlin of Fredonia recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with family. The two were united in marriage on Jan. 17, 1953 at the First United Methodist Church in Dunkirk. The Rev. Arthur Crawford officiated the ceremony.

Walter Hamlin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Hamlin. Marilyn Hamlin is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth W. Milks.

Mr. Hamlin is retired from Al Tech Specialty Steel Corp. Mrs. Hamlin is retired from Brooks Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse.

The couple has been blessed with three children: the Rev. Deborah Hamlin of Fredonia; Mr. and Mrs. Walter (Selma) Hamlin of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Mr. and Mrs. David (Bonnie) Hamlin of Stillwater, Oklahoma.

They have four grandchildren: Walter and Kelly Hamlin of Broken Arrow, Preston Hamlin of Nashua, New Hampshire and Alexander Hamlin of Tallahassee, Florida.
