Local Nashville reunion held recently

NASHVILLE – The 46th annual Nashville, N.Y. reunion was held recently at the home of Pastor Fred and JoAnne Holdridge on Route 39 in Nashville.

Twenty-three guests attended from all around Western New York. Guests enjoyed a lovely day of delicious food and sharing memories of living in and around Nashville. Meat and rolls were provided.

The Holdridges welcomed the guests and Fred, who is pastor at the Collins Center United Methodist Church, gave the invocation and blessing of the food.

Following the meal, Roxanne Fisk of Fredonia led the annual auction of a variety of items donated by the guests. The proceeds help fund future reunions.

Guests enjoyed looking at albums with photos of previous reunions. Myrna Moss of South Dayton brought an album she is preparing with photos and historical information about Nashville.

Moss, president, conducted a short business meeting. Joanne Goetz of Fredonia and JoAnne Holdridge will continue as secretary and treasurer.

The 47th reunion will be held in July at the Holdridge home in Nashville. All past and present Nashville residents are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
