Beta Sigma Phi Brocton chapter meets

Members of the Brocton Preceptor Beta Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met Tuesday, Nov.  15 at the White Village for a social/dinner meeting.

The chapter received a note from the Fredonia Opera House regarding their upcoming Annual Members Holiday Party on Sunday, Dec. 4. Those attending must RSVP by Dec. 1.

The group voted to make a $75 donation to the Brocton/Portland Food Pantry, as they are especially in need of monetary and food donations this time of year.

Some discussion was held on the upcoming annual Christmas dinner at the home of Marie Zambotti on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Plans will be finalized at the next meeting at the home of Judy Travis on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 pm. Lois Smith will serve as co-hostess and Roxanne Fisk will be in charge of the evening’s program.

The evening ended with a very informative program presented by Janice Hipwell and Margie Boltz on “Fun Facts” from the Grove House of Florida’s Natural, which they visited on a recent trip to Florida. It is the story of a grower-owned juice company that produces a quality product and that uses many energy-saving practices. The ladies served each member present with a delicious glass of Florida’s Natural orange juice at the end of the program.
