The District 8 Conference the chapter co-hosted at the White Inn in Fredonia on Oct. 8 was well-attended and a success. The gathering included DAR officers from across the state.

The Chapter is participating in Wreaths across America and will be placing wreaths at Bath for the holiday season.

Members were asked to remember to vote on Nov. 8 and that Veterans Day is Nov. 11. Thank a veteran for his or her service.

The meeting was adjourned at 2 p.m. Hostess Sedlmayer served homemade muffins and soft drinks.

The next meeting will be at 1 p.m. on Dec. 1 in conjunction with the noon Christmas party. Those who had an  ancestor that fought for freedom in the Revolutionary War and would like to join the Chapter are asked to call Ubaney at 679-1216.
