SCCS facilitating ‘Adopt a Class of 2020 Black Knight’ project

SILVER CREEK – The Parent Teacher Student Association of Silver Creek Central School District is facilitating the “Adopt a Class of 2020 Black Knight” project to show the senior class some love as they graduate amid a pandemic.

Community members are invited to make a gift basket for one of the 99 seniors of Silver Creek High’s Class of 2020.

The suggested value of the baskets is $30 and suggested items include: gift cards, candy, snacks, items to take to college, travel mugs, Post-Its, AA batteries, Command strips, clear tape, duct tape, rolls of toilet paper, small flashlights, travel umbrellas, decks of cards, safety pins, throw blankets, and a graduation card.

To participate call 672-2910. All baskets should be turned in by Monday, June 8, at Mia Bella’s Consignment Boutique, 260 Central Ave., by appointment at the aforementioned phone number.

For those who cannot donate a whole basket, donations of cash and individual items are gratefully accepted.
