SILVER CREEK — The 27th Annual Silver Creek Yard Sale is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The annual event provides residents of the community to sell gently used merchandise in the community by signing up for the event at Silver Creek Optical, 4 Main St. or online at the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce.

The event cost is $10 to register and maps will be on sale in the Village Park the morning of the event. The village grants permission to the Hanover Community Chamber of Commerce to hold this annual event.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, area residents are asked to wear masks, sanitize your hands regularly and practice social distancing. Also, when registering at Silver Creek Optical, its best to call ahead for an appointment to sign up on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. Also wear a mask, bring correct amount of money ($10), and maintain distance among people.
