SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Seniors met on Tuesday, Sept. 7 with 28 members present. Pauline Flitt read “Refresh Yourself” and offered a blessing on the members and food. Earl Sheeler and Harry Suski grilled hot dogs and we enjoyed many salads and desserts. Seniors set upcoming events

The Dunkirk Senior Center will be having a potluck dinner on Tuesday, Sept. 21. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. Dinner will start at 5 p.m. Those planning to attend should stop in the Center office to sign up and notify what dish they will be making. This event is limited to 75 members. The Center will be having a flea market, bake sale and craft Ssle on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Members can contact the Center office to reserve a table. Sheridan Happy Seniors hold final meeting On Friday, Aug. 13, the “Sheridan Happy Seniors” gathered for the last time singing the “Happy Seniors Song.” President Eleanor Lemiszko opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and everyone singing God Bless America.
