Silver Creek Seniors meet

The Silver Creek Seniors met on June 15 with 25 members present. President Ed Newman welcomed Inez Edler. He then said that Earl Sheeler had just brought in hot dogs from the grill, so lunch would be first on the agenda. After everyone had their fill, we said The Pledge to the Flag and sang God Bless America. Pauline Flitt offered a prayer and post blessing of the food. State OFA to offer classes for senior citizens

The state Office for the Aging is partnering with The Association on Aging in New York and GetSetUp to offer 50,000 classes featuring more than 300 different course options developed by and for older adults. Sheridan Seniors return after over a year

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Seniors recently met after over a year because of COVID-19 restrictions. There were just under 20 members in attendance. The welcome back meeting started by singing the “Happy Seniors Song” followed by the “Pledge of Alliance “ and singing “God Bless America.” Pauline Flitt gave the blessing before everyone was served pizza. The Silver Creek Seniors met on May 25 with 31 members present to celebrate Mothers’ and Fathers’ Days with a pot luck luncheon.
