GOWANDA POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Shawn Deahn, 34 of Gowanda, was charged with petit larceny and trespassing on Nov. 1 at just after 5:30 p.m. Patrol was notified that Deahn had entered the area of a closed Buffalo Street business, and had stolen items from the business. Patrol located Deahn on Buffalo Street and arrested him on both charges. Deahn was released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Collins Court.
¯ Kristina Jimerson, 45 of Irving, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and controlled substance in a non-original container on Nov. 6. At 2:30 p.m, Jimerson was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by patrol for erratic operation. During this stop, Jimerson was found to be in possession of various pills. Jimerson was arrested on both charges and released on an appearance ticket to the Town of Persia Court.
¯ Damion McNevin, 23 of Gowanda, was charged with expired inspection and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation on Nov. 7. At 10:30 that morning, McNevin was operating a vehicle stopped by patrol for having an expired inspection sticker. During the stop, a DMV computer check revealed that McNevin’s license was suspended on Oct. 22 for failing to pay child support. McNevin was arrested on both charges and released on an appearance ticket to the Town of Collins court.
¯ Elliot Morris, 19 of Collins, was charged with second-degree harassment on Nov. 7. At around 4 that afternoon, patrol responded to St. Johns Street for the report of harassment. Patrol was informed that Morris had threatened to harm a 14-year-old, then left the area. Patrol located Morris and arrested him for harassment. He was released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Persia Court.
¯ Scott Wittmeyer, 33 of Gowanda, was charged with petit larceny on Nov. 11. On Jan. 9, patrol received a report that Wittmeyer had stolen money from the register at the business where he was employed. The theft was documented by a surveillance system. Wittmeyer was not on location at the time of the report. Patrol unsuccessfully tried to locate Wittmeyer, leading to a warrant for his arrest, issued by the Town of Collins court. On Nov. 11, Wittmeyer was encountered by police in the Town of Brant, who turned him over to Gowanda police. Wittmeyere was arrested on this warrant and released on an appearance ticket to be in the town of Collins court.
