JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Taylor M. Crofoot, 22, of Jamestown was charged April 26 with driving while intoxicated, speeding, and no/insufficient tail lamps. According to police, at about 1:30 a.m., officers were on patrol in the downtown area, near Spring and Fourth streets, when they observed a vehicle with no tail lights on, traveling at a high rate of speed. Officers, police said, stopped the vehicle, and determined that the operator, Crofoot, allegedly was driving while intoxicated. Crofoot was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail where he allegedly refused a chemical test to determine his blood-alcohol content. He will be in Jamestown City Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

– Justin L. Horton, 41, of Stockton was charged April 26 with three counts of second-degree menacing, and three counts of aggravated harassment. According to officials, at about 12:43 p.m., deputies responded to a reported fight on Mill Street in the town of Stockton. Through investigation it was found that Horton allegedly did threaten physical harm to multiple victims while armed with a dangerous instrument. Horton was placed into custody, and was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized processing. He will be in Stockton Town Court later.

– Brian D. Dilorenzo Jr., 30, of Dunkirk, was charged April 26 with DWI, DWI per se, speeding, and having an open container in a motor vehicle. According to officials, at 10:49 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the town of Hanover. The operator was identified as Dilorenzo. Further investigation found Brian to be allegedly driving while intoxicated. He was placed into custody, was released with appearance tickets. Dilorenzo will be in Hanover Town Court later.
